A 5-year global music + film + climate project — 7 continents, 82 countries, one concert at the South Pole, one UN climate resolution, and a documentary film coming 2026.
BIOGRAPHY

Bjørn Vidø is a Danish filmmaker, composer, sound designer and musician — and the creator of Music in Space, one of the most ambitious independent music-documentary projects of its generation. Educated at the National Film School of Denmark (Sound Design), Bjørn has worked on Oscar-nominated projects and won awards at Epica, Cannes, and LIA New York.

Music in Space began after a personal health crisis — mould in his home, blood pressure at 240, and a doctor who said he might not make it. Bjørn sold everything and started travelling. Five years, seven continents, and 82 countries later, the project has grown into a live cinematic concert, two albums featuring artists from 18 countries, and a 75-minute documentary film now in post-production.

The project has reached the United Nations, contributed to a climate resolution passed with full global consensus, and earned the support of HRH Queen Mary of Denmark, Academy Award-winning actress Jane Fonda, NASA astronauts, heads of state, and ministers from five continents.

Upcoming: The Remixes album (September 2026) and a live concert broadcast from the stratosphere — 45 kilometres above Earth, via weather balloon.
